How do I qualify for loans?

We are constantly refreshing our data to ensure that we can offer loans to as many customers as possible so if you don’t get an offer today, sit tight, we will contact you when one becomes available.

 

  • In order to qualify for a loan, you must be an active mobile subscriber for at least 90 days, spend at least N500 per month on your line, and be at least 18 years old.

How much money can I borrow with kwikmoney?

Our loan amounts are tailored to meet any and all kinds of requirements. Loan amounts start from as little as N500 for a quick need to and can exceed N500,000 for larger expenses. However, kwikmoney is eager to go on the journey of building wealth with you, so we will usually start with a small loan and grow your loan offers amounts over time as you borrow and repay your loans consistently and build trust with the system.

How do you determine the amount I qualify for?

Your individual loan offers are customized to you and are automatically determined based on a detailed analysis of your personal data by our highly intelligent algorithm.  🤓

Can I request specific amounts Is there room for me to take loan amounts outside of what kwimoney is offering me?

As our offers are based on your credit history, we are unable to take specific requests. There is however no limit to how many loans you can take and repay in a period so the more you borrow and repay, the sooner you’ll be able to reach your goal amount.No, the loan amount is automatically determined based on your credit history and your personal data.

Does kwikmoney offer business loans?

Our loans are not categorized by purpose and so they can be used for any means, including business 💼No, business loan offers are not available for now

How do I increase my loan offer?

We are keen to grow your loan offers along with you, currently the best way to increase your loan offer is to pay back your loan on or before the due date.

Why don’t I have any loan offers?
Our aim is to always be able to make you an offer, no matter how small we start with. However, offers are extended based on credit history and the amount and accuracy of the data we have on you. In instances where we are unable to ascertain your personal information, we may not be able to make you an offer.

How do I pay back my kwikmoney loan?
  • To make sure that your repayment experience is as easy as possible, there are several ways to pay your loan back. Simply select the option that works best for you from the list below: 

Pay online

  • Go to kwikmoney.com 
  • Select the pay tab at the top right-hand corner of the page
  • Click on the payment page
  • Enter your phone number
  • Select ‘Pay Loan’
  • Select the ‘Pay with card’ option from the list of payment methods
  • Select your saved payment card or select ‘add card’ and follow the instructions to register a new card
  • Confirm payment and you will receive a confirmation message for your payment.

 

Pay with USSD

  • Dial *561# from any mobile phone. (*554*561# for airtel customers)
  •  Select ‘Loans’
  • Select  ‘Pay Loan’
  •  Select the ‘Pay with Phone’ option from the list of payment methods
  • Select ‘add card’ and follow the instructions on how to register a card
  • Confirm payment and you will receive a confirmation message for your payment. 

 

Pay with ATM

 

Please visit an ATM operated by one of the banks listed below. Ensure you have the phone that receives your bank alerts with you, in case you need to receive a token, then do the following:

  • Insert your ATM card and select the ‘Quickteller’ option
  • Select ‘Pay Bills’
  • Select ‘Others’
  • Enter ‘04354101’ as the Biller Code
  • Enter the phone number being used with kwikmoney for ‘Customer Reference Number’
  • Confirm payment
  • You will see a confirmation message for your payment. 

Kindly note that there is a N100 processing fee.

Inform them that you would like to make a kwikmoney payment using PAYDIRECT. There is no account number to pay into but the phone number you used for your kwikmoney loan request should be used as the Customer Reference Number for Paydirect. For your convenience, we advise that you visit the bank early to avoid queues.

Can I make a partial repayment?

Ease of use is one of the values we stand by and so we have made it possible for you to pay as little or as much as you can before your loan due date. To make a payment, select your preferred repayment method then change the amount to be paid and proceed with payment.  A partial payment is a good option to take to preserve your good payment history and avoid reducing your next loan amount.

Can I do a transfer from my account to pay my loan?

At the moment, this option is not available but we are always looking for more ways to serve you better. In the meantime though, This option is not available as a payment method for now. Please refer to ‘how do I payback” above for details on payment methods.

Can kwikmoney auto-debit me?

Can I make payment for kwikmoney on any platform that offers payment for kwikmoney loans?

Do I have to pay my kwikmoney loan from the same account where it was disbursed?

Repayments can be received from any valid debit card. If you previously registered a card and would like to change that card, please visit kwikmoney.com/pay and follow the instructions to add a new payment card. No, you can pay your kwikmoney loan with any ATM card.

I lost the line I used to get a loan. How can I make a repayment?

Where you can no longer access to the phone you used to take your loan, you can repay using our ‘pay with cash’ option. Please refer to ‘how do I payback” above for details on this payment method

Late Repayment

What happens if I do not pay back my kwikmoney loan?

Our service is a “loan” service which seeks to help all Nigerians gain access to credit. In order for us to keep offering loans to more people and increasing your loan offers, it is important that repayments are made when due. In the unlikely event that a loan is not repaid on the due date, an additional default fee (5%) will be charged, if repayment is still not received additional penalties as agreed in the terms and conditions will be issued. More importantly, as we strive to provide opportunities to help you thrive, we trust that you will maintain the relationship with us by borrowing responsibly.

What should I do if I don’t understand the Terms and Conditions?

Our T&Cs were developed with your comfort and security in mind and so it is critical that you understand what you agree to when you take a kwikmoney loan. kwikmoney highlights four major points you must agree to when you accept a loan offer:

 

  • To pay the loan balance on or before the due date

This means that you understand that kwikmoney is a loan which must be paid back by the due date to continue using and enjoying the service.

  • To allow the use of your personal data to determine loan offers.

As our loan offers are made based on the amount of data we have on you, this term means that you have given consent to kwikmoney to consider and analyze your personal data in order to provide you with the best available loan offer. Your personal data comes from many sources, including your phone, your bank, bill payments, credit bureaus, and other sources.

 

  • To be subject to fees and penalties for late payment.

To enable us to continue lending to more and more customers while increasing your loan offers, it is important that we are able to recover loans granted. This means that when we do not receive repayments on the due date,  we are forced to charge additional fees and interest. This term means you have given your consent to be subject to these charges if your loan repayment is late.

  • To allow messages to your contacts if you do not pay.

This means you consent to kwikmoney sending messages to anyone you have ever called or sent an SMS to if we are unable to reach you. kwikmoney will only send these messages after multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach you after your loan repayment date has passed.

Unmatched bank account and SIM registration details, What should I do?

Uh oh, this is an unfortunate situation that happens frequently but the way to fix it is simple, just re-register your SIM so your SIM details match your bank account details.

I made payment and I am yet to get payment notification.

kwikmoney is messaging me about a loan I know nothing about, how do I resolve this?

As our loans are tied to your phone number and bank account, we will need to go through our verification process with you. Please click on the “Chat” button below providing the mobile number that the SMS was sent to. Alternatively, you can call us on +234 01 700 2274 or text “HELP” to 561 (9mobile only) or send an email to support@kwikmoney.com and we would be happy to help resolve this.

I made payment but my contacts still got notified.
